Hi Folks:
I have not had to come around for quite some time. Just wearing out tires.
Recently I have noticed that when I get ready to start the bike for the first time in the day, it will just click and not start. Now it is up to two or three tries.
Good battery & fully charged.
When it starts no lugging noise coming from the starter.
This makes me look at the Starter Relay & or the solenoid. Any problem case with either of theses. Just do not want to get stranded some night.

Though not on the R3 yet - I've had relay contacts burn.

As the R3 is a double contact relay - Lights or starter - I'd DEFINITELY start there - Also take a look at clutch and stand cutouts. They should not allow the relay to click - but.......

You could do a quickie test - MAKE SURE IT'S IN NEUTRAL - take a wire from the BIG wire terminal on the starter and touch it to the solenoid - see if it spins

I would take the wire FROM starter to the battery - That way the wire is not live (hot) as you are trying to find the stater solenoid (an accidental grounding on your chrome work WILL damage it or arcing its self to bare metal causing an electrical fire) I'm just Anal like that
