Squeaking Progressive shock bushings; yes they are. :-?

What's a good fix for it? Just a shot of WD40 into the bushing around the bolt?

ACF-50 better. ACF-50 grease better still. Copper grease even better. Forget Moly-grease - it attracts water.

What about brake caliper grease? I have that...

On edit: I used some white lithium grease I had. Squeaking is gone; thank goodness... sounded like an old spring bed when you jumped on it.

Hmmm... even after using lithium grease on the bushings; they are starting to squeak again. I think it's now the spring coil(s) rubbing against the shock shroud(s).

The OEM shocks never did that. :-?
