Went on a ride today and had the GPS with me. According to the GPS, I was going 4mph slower than what my speedo said. Can this be adjusted with out TB?

Yes it will.

If memory serves, the TB dowloaded tunes selection including this function will adjust the speedo reading by 7%. The tune up I used corrected the speedo downward from 55 MPH to 51 MPH. Good Luck...SB.

I found that mine was about 6.5% optimistic. Easy fix with the TB. But keep in mind, if you adjust the speedo, the odometer and trip meter will be off by the same percentage. From the factory the odometer is very accurate. After the speedo adjustment you will actually be putting 6.5-7.0% more miles on the bike than what the odometer says.
