Speedo and Odometer

Right then.

The project continues.

The beast is running, and I have refitted the newly painted rear wheel, complete with new disc, caliper and pads.

The silencers are now fitted. Quieten the beast down a bit.

Two things I need to do now:

1. Run Tune ECU, when I can find the diagnostic lead on the bike! Any hints would be welcome !
2. Check the speedo/ odo. I took the beast for a little ride around the houses (5 minutes) and noticed the the odometer was on 0. I must admit I didn't even check the speedo! Again, any ideas would help!

The OBDII lead is under the seat, under the tool kit to the left side of the battery. I don't know what to tell you about the odo reading.

the diagnostic connector in on the right near the front of the fuse box. its in a rubber boot on a mount it hide right in front of you very good. once you hook tune ecu up you can run the first the look at the map to see what the speedo correction is in it already if any. if not it will depend on which rear tire your running. Also with tune ecu you can run the speedo and tach test.

The trip meter will reset to 0 when the battery is disconnected, but the odometer should retain its memory. Maybe you have a bike with 0 miles on it.

I was wondering if he had one of the trip odometers up but did not notice it. That would be a easy fix

I scrolled through the two trip meters, and they are on 0, but so is the odo!

Then it might be playing up or like Ian said you must have a low mileage bike
