2023 Triumph R3 GT, 2022 Moto Guzzi V85TT,
I got into a project of replacing the rear bearing on the output shaft , on my 06 R#. Went to the dealer today. To say the least the parts man I talked to did not instill much confidence. IHe tried to sell me the wrong bearing. I had to show him on his diagram which parts I was talking about.
Turns out I neded my engine number to order one. They have achoice of three bearings.
Does anyone knoe of a parts house online. Tried Bike Bandit. Not to much help there. They said Triumph has put a slow down on getting parts to them.
I am not trying to under-cut the dealer , but would like to talk to someone who knows what I am talking about.

North County Yamaha/Triumph, google 'em, ring and talk to Jason, best service and good pricing.

I talked to another man who will take care of me from now on. I think he is a lot more knowledgeable .
Problem solved

Don't mess about getting just the bearings, get the uprate kit instead it comes with bearings later casing & a whole lot of other stuff too
& it's cheap as chips seriously worth getting.

Get the upgrade kit
IF you dont go that way just get the numbers from the bearings and go to a bearing shop they have them on the shelf
make sure you pay the extra dosh for SKF or FAG bearings Chinese is only for eating.

I agree with Les on this one. But to install it al you will have to pull the engine. But then your almost halfway there if not half way there already.
Oh and if you start asking about it ask for the update kit not the upgrade kit unless you want them to get defensive and they will as there is no upgrade kit.
