I took this picture with my little Nikon Coolpix P510 digital camera with 42x zoom.

Now can you name these 4 Galilean moons ?

BTW: Jupiter has 63 known moons.
 
With 42x magnification, it could very well be Jupiter and its moons. Naked eye, unlikely.

You can often see Jupiter clearly with the naked eye in the country away from light and industrial pollution the moons are only tiny specks but if you spot them with a pair of 30 power binoculars then know where to look you can often see them all ,spend 30 years in the outback areas and you get to know the night sky Gods light show
