Signal light switch

My Rocket signal light switch is not working properly (I think). The problem is that when I put the signal light on (in either direction) and then let it self cancel, unless I push the center cancel button in, it will no longer work in either direction. We have a new dealer in town and he didn't know if this is the way they are supposed to work. Any idea or do I just need a new switch!!! Thanks

is there a self cancelling option for the indicators?? mine doesnt self cancel and i cant find it in the owners manual (the one you get with the bike when you purchase it, not the tech 300page book)

The R3T self cancels and no you do not need to reset it.

That is what I thought but mine does not reset. Kind of dangerous because if I don't reset it I have no signal lights until I do. Guess I need to order a new switch. Thanks
