Should be a Ten Year Ban

You did tell me of the one time you did get a ticket, and how you called the policeman a *****for doing his job. So I guess you are on my side about cops doing their job . Ride safe my brother

I gotta be honest, I doubt anyone here has benefitted from"officer discretion" more than I have in my life, the aforementioned last two tickets I got, the one on Wyoming the cop asked me what I topped out at, he said he held 125 mph for 15 minutes and never caught sight of me, I said I didn't notice, he wrote me for 81 in a 70. The other was local, cop clocked me at 75 in a 45, he said " I can't write you for 30 over, they'll crucify you, how about 56 in a 45?"
And if I had all the nickel bags back that cops scattered in the wind or dumped down a sewer grate back in the 70s.....

Same as out here in Washington state. And on these outrageous laws prohibiting state and local law enforcement from assisting ICE, they have a history of cooperating with each other to take down criminal gangs, arrest drug dealers, terrorists etc., to keep American citizens safe. No more in many states.

I do respect work like this that has a measure of temperance.

Last dealing I had with the local police was outside the gas station where I eat almost every day. I always sit at the same table outside. I tell them hi when they come in, and tell them to be careful as they head out. They all know me. I got there one Saturday about 2 am, and was inside ordering food when a lady comes in and said 2 guys were about to fight outside. An employee called the police and told the 2 guys that they were coming. One guy left and the other sat at a table. I got my food and went sat outside to eat. 2 cops pulled up from opposite ends of the parking lot (I recognized both of them), and blocked in my bike. They both came straight to my table, one with a hand on his tazer, the other with a hard on his gun, and asked if I had a problem. These guys have seen me there a hundred times and I've never caused trouble. I was sitting down eating, obviously not causing a threat, but they still charge in with hands on their weapons like I was being a menace. That gung ho bull**** attitude is why I don't like most cops. Save your aggressive attitude for the bad guys.
