Should be a Ten Year Ban

My apologies for relaxing my apprehensions of speaking to being a police detective amoung the friends on this forum.
Why are you so determined to twist this knife and words? It is never a guaranteed pass and
always up to the cop.
FWIW- My violations have been speed related and in low or no collision locations and ones that I did not write.
I did admit to the hypocracy of identifying myself as a cop when stopped. BTW, I have been pinched for speed in recent years. Hope that helps you feel a little better . . .
You did tell me of the one time you did get a ticket, and how you called the policeman a *****for doing his job. :p So I guess you are on my side about cops doing their job :roll::roll:. Ride safe my brother

I gotta be honest, I doubt anyone here has benefitted from"officer discretion" more than I have in my life, the aforementioned last two tickets I got, the one on Wyoming the cop asked me what I topped out at, he said he held 125 mph for 15 minutes and never caught sight of me, I said I didn't notice, he wrote me for 81 in a 70. The other was local, cop clocked me at 75 in a 45, he said " I can't write you for 30 over, they'll crucify you, how about 56 in a 45?"
And if I had all the nickel bags back that cops scattered in the wind or dumped down a sewer grate back in the 70s.....

yes it is un written and the police don’t want to do the paperwork and research required to prove they have fake registration and insurance, which would allow them to impound the car and arrest the person! The illegals also get released in less than 12 hours on their own recognizance and I never show up for court The illegals in NJ all get fake Pennsylvania Insurance and registration because it easier to get and harder to check for validity! So it’s just easier to pull over and ticket citizens! Citizens pay their tickets and show up for court dates!
I’m friends with several police officers and some are local, some state and they all say the same thing! illegals get a pass because it’s easier to ticket citizens, and it’s more lucrative!

Same as out here in Washington state. And on these outrageous laws prohibiting state and local law enforcement from assisting ICE, they have a history of cooperating with each other to take down criminal gangs, arrest drug dealers, terrorists etc., to keep American citizens safe. No more in many states.

I do respect work like this that has a measure of temperance.

Last dealing I had with the local police was outside the gas station where I eat almost every day. I always sit at the same table outside. I tell them hi when they come in, and tell them to be careful as they head out. They all know me. I got there one Saturday about 2 am, and was inside ordering food when a lady comes in and said 2 guys were about to fight outside. An employee called the police and told the 2 guys that they were coming. One guy left and the other sat at a table. I got my food and went sat outside to eat. 2 cops pulled up from opposite ends of the parking lot (I recognized both of them), and blocked in my bike. They both came straight to my table, one with a hand on his tazer, the other with a hard on his gun, and asked if I had a problem. These guys have seen me there a hundred times and I've never caused trouble. I was sitting down eating, obviously not causing a threat, but they still charge in with hands on their weapons like I was being a menace. That gung ho bull**** attitude is why I don't like most cops. Save your aggressive attitude for the bad guys.
