Shorter Rear Shocks

I pretty much agree with what you say 1olbull. My feet are on the boards as soon I start moving but only in forward motion. ;)

However there are times when I would gladly sacrifice a small bit of lean angle to feel more secure whilst manoeuvring. Just one instance, the drive to my bike garage is narrow and winding plus too steep to push up backwards. When getting the bike out its either a 25 point turn (impractical) or foot it out backwards downhill for 45 feet on tip toe, that is no joke especially when you are getting on a bit as I am.

Anyway, at the moment 20mm shorter Nitro's are at the top of the list, these being a reasonable compromise between safer manoeuvrability and lean angle.

There is of course another solution
