Just one thing about Sheepskins (and other cured skins) should you have sterilised pets.
Our experience is that lady doggies can get all "excited" - something to do with the chemicals used in curing.

Yep. We had a female silky terrier who used to hump her sheepskin like there was no tomorrow.

Note that before @Walking Tall the prior post was 8 years ago - and from a seldom here visitor.

Position is key. I found that I was simply not sat right. Modified seat (because it is easier than modifying foot position) - that then required modified bars.
And I am NOT a big bloke.

Sheepskin is (ime) not a very good all weather long term solution. It mats down eventually. And ime tend to make ones "gentleman's vegetables" sweat more.

Try good quality aramid lined jeans or better still lined leathers. They stop the saggy parts of the body from moving too much and keep the natural meaty pads where nature intended.

The problem on bikes is Waxed Cotton or Greased leather. That does NOT wash out.
