Trying to make my first mod into my bike , whats your opinion ? Tune ecu secondary full open or direct removal? Thank you all

OPEN 100% first - You may not like the result.

Be aware it will affect the fuelling. So look for a new tune/map which compensates accordingly.

Ok what I can see Tune Ecu full open would be the same as removing ....I have no other mod by this time and have a Classic with aftermarket exhaust on it tuned already , do you recomend another step ? Thank you all

It isn't quite the same as removing... there's a time lag for one, & still a physical mass, & volume, with air resistance; even when fully open. However these effects are small.Fully open / removed ( easy to do, those screws arn't hard to control) is definately the way to go, providing you have the appropriate tune.

some body corect me if i am wrong but,
the secondarys are closed by the computer during "limp home mode"
and also when reaching the rev limit, acompanied with a decrease in fuel
so you could run lean at 6300 rpm
probably best to set them to 100% via tune ecu

You know... I look at the original Triumph Rocket fuel maps in Tune Edit; and one would believe Triumph had to come up with distinct Fuel table cell values in mid range RPM; with respect to the less than 100 percent secondary plate openings in that range...

So when one pops those secondaries open at 100 percent all the way through; without adjusting the corresponding Fuel table cells in those ranges; you are most certainly running lean. You have to be..... I probably was myself.

Back on topic for a second here if ya'll don't mind.
put a clean rag inside the throttle body, actually all three at once.
THEN take the screws out, better safe than sorry.
there's no down side to removing the secondaries that I can see.

Skip...?

Did you not read and comprehend what I just posted about the secondaries not being matched with the OEM fuel tables; if they're opened at 100 percent?
