Saga of the water pump

Back in March of 2025 I ordered a water pump through Adept PowerSports because there seemed to be a rash of water pump failures and knowing how scarce they are I decided to order one in order to ward off the bad water pump gremlins.

I let it ride on auto pilot (backorder status) and promptly forgot about it, just because I really didn't need one.
Slow forward to July 2026 and I get an email telling me my water pump has shipped!!!

So now it will go onto the shelf with the other spare parts until either I need it or I sell the bike.

I guess good things do come to those who wait.

You can always have it gold plated and engraved....

It won't be gold plated but if I decide to sell it whoever buys it will think it is gold plated at the least, maybe solid gold!!!
