Just removed the crank angle sensor, it had a little amount of iron filings, not much, cleaned it up.

After a fun 300km ride I have little progress, the surging is still there. It’s really notable when the cruise control is activated, I have gone through all the cruise control settings with the Mc cruise people but so far no improvement.
I can’t be 100% confident the new TPS is 100% new as it was in a box with a number of TPS at the Triumph shop, not in a Triumph plastic bag. No error codes showing in Tune ECU.

I am pleased to finally report that after pulling every Mccruise wiring connection apart, cleaning with electrical cleaner, giving the connection a blow out with a air hose, inspecting, then making sure every connector was put together correctly the surging issue has been resolved and the cruise control is operating correctly. I have no idea what fixed the problem but I am pleased it’s finally fixed.

Too must is just barely enough
Add my self to to the failed TPS group.
Hermy's supplied the new TPS, that, cured the mad surging at 1800-2500.
