Rode for the first time yesterday!

Good stuff Ricochet ..seriously can't even begin to imagine living in a climate like that. Realise just how lucky we Aussies are to be able to ride all year round.

I'm drooling, no slobbering with envy. We have a winter storm warning in effect right now with up to 30 centimeter forcast. I keep saying pretty soon....... pretty soon but I wonder. Heading down to London this Friday to pick up my Rocket and trailer it back home (cough).

Someone has to turn off winter.

Keep the pictures coming Ricko :)

Nobody said we couldn't ride all year......we were just referring to our bikes....;)

Good for you Ricochet, BTW Nice lookin sissy bar brackets you have there:whitstling:

Mittzy you have my gratitude.. seriously. My wife and I will be enjoying our first ride together on the Rocket on Sunday, and the sissy bar brackets are one of my favourite mods for sure.

Well I used to live in South Africa, so I do know the difference.. and it SUCKS!!!!!

You might want to consider some floor boards, they do make the ride a bit more comfortable..Ride safe

Yeah that could be an option for the future, I am not entirely sure right now but I do feel like my legs are pretty high up compared to my previous bike with the pegs way out front.. I think I may be more comfortable if I could get an inch or 2 lower, or maybe forward.

I am planning on putting the highway bars on my bike, maybe I can find some pegs that clamp onto it that will make it more comfortable as well.

We're having a lot of rain here these last couple of days. Very uncharacteristic. I have good wet weather gear and slow down a little. Makes me realise how lucky we are. Must say it warms my heart a little to think of what you're experiencing; that feeling of unbreakable strength that comes from low down when you twist the throttle. It's at it's best when the feeling is new but you never tire of it and it's totally addictive. Here's hoping for better riding weather soon for all you guys.
