Rocket III vs ZX-14

I'm on my way to work this morning and end up side by side with a ZX-14 at a stop light.

The road is straight ahead.. no traffic, no cops, etc.. The most powerful production bike vs the fastest production bike.. What were we to do? We looked at each other and nodded and the light turned green..

I launched the Rocket hard expecting to light up the Avon, but I must have got it right and got a pretty good hook up.. lifting the front end and off we go.. The ZX-14 is behind me.. I hit 2nd gear with some fish tailling tire spin, but still ahead..

Then it was all over, he had me as I shifted into 3rd gear.. I still stayed on it for a bit, mirrors folding back on me.. Never did look at the speedometer..

I knew I was going to get my ass handed to me, but it sure was fun!!!

it's always more vailiant to be agressive than be a *****. You could have pulled a 6 grand holeshot and asphyxiated him in rubber smoke....... or...

you could have turned right when the light changed.

That 'thing' behind the bike needs more horsepower. You are 100% right on that account.

hahaha... I expected to go up in smoke since I don't practice launches that often.. lol

I couldn't just puss out and turn right.. My bike is too easily recognizable.. I would have to repaint it in order to ride in public with any dignity.. lol

You're going to need something fatter on the rear to be able to transmit all that hp to asphalt. Otherwise, just smoke.

WELL thats a lot of fun but its a different outcome if your running a modded ROCKET like WARPS or A STAGE1 CARPENTER PACKAGE there is nothing more fun than beating zx14s and BUSAS its the ultimate rush
