I heard from Blastedbones (he's primarily on .com) that a couple of guys from OZ got new bikes (early models) with gudgeon pin (what we call wrist pins) problems.

I hope they get you sorted. I hate it when old stuff (which is everything I have) breaks, much less something new

On my rebuild they replaced almost everything. The only parts reused were camshafts, sprockets, engine block but not the head(got new head), crankshaft and balance shaft and of course transmission parts.
