so correct me if im wrong rocket peoples, but seems like i read where the thunderbird "storm" is a hopped up version, with more bore, and different cams for some extra snort over the standard, right out of the box. if true this makes me wonder how cool would a rocket3 "storm" be. do any of you think it would make good marketing sense? wouldnt need any more bore of course, but what if the brits put out a "special edition", with lets say 170 horses on tap, with as much torque, for the guys who seem to crave a bit more. they could pull this much power out of her with ease i would think, seeins how the motor is so detuned. if they do this i will be all over one, and wouldnt have to send my bike off to carpenter, or antbody else for that matter, to get the royal treatment!!!................scott

I don't think there is room to overbore them. Seem to remember Carpenter thought not, anyway.

Don't have to overbore - just give us more power on tap without spending the huge dough up front. That said - don't think it would happen since they have partnered with Carpenter now.

I was hoping that they had partnered with him to come up with a factory performance package, but haven't heard anything in a while.

Don't have to 'send' your Rocket anywhere or spend big bucks to get 160 BHP at the rear wheel.. good set of headers/muffler , K&N's and a dyno .. done deal.

Dobeck Performance AFR Plus gave me about 19 HP and 10 TQ. Better MPG too. Simple plug and play. No computer tunes, performance pipes, K&N filters, or dyno tuner needed to make it work. It has 3 power setting zones and is it fully adjustable for what ever I want. Cost $325 or $250 for forum members. Worth every penny folks.

I got great numbers just by doing as TC said....

I recon it would exceed the emissions requirements. I don't know why, I just recon it would... Why else wouldn't they do it?
