I have installed the Rivco passenger boards with the relocation arms.

I just got my beatle bags and went to install them. Clealy, the lower arm is designed for the standard passenger peg. There is no clearance let along 2 mounting points on the Rivco boards. Yet I know lots of people have both. Can I have explanation or even picture of how this is done. I see nothing on either site.

I wanted to add an update. First I called Corbin and they refused to discus any modification to their system.
I then called Rivco who told me they have designed and are expecting delivery of a bracket to replace the Corbin bracket for use with their footboards. The cost is $89.00 US. Also they are expecting these to reach them in end of May or first week in June. They are not available now. However, if you order now you can go on the list for shipping first thing.

I see no point in fabricating something myself or having it done at this point. I will put the old footpegs on untll I get the Rivco footboard bracket.

This is the age old knock on Corbin. Nice stuff, generally well made, but have a problem and customer service stinks. My bags look gorgeous, but I must confess I have not held them up to the bike in the sunlight.

That being said, I have no real beef over this with Corbin. I frankly don't blame them for refusing to discuss altering a bracket. Any issues with breakage or a crack and they will bear the brunt of a claim when the bracket they designed was not used, or at least in the way they designed it.

I was told as an aside when I commented on how well the red matched that they had trouble with the prime..errr, Greyphite matching. Sounded like Triumph changed color mid-production. I have found Corbin's customer service to be excellent, but then again I'm barely 100 miles away from Hollister and I can visit in person.

Of Course I spent the night in the garage replacing the pegs and mounting the bag. The right side lower bracket did not fit as made. Required a lot of bending to get it to fit over back and on peg through bolt. Real pain in the ass. Also the 3/8 bots supplied are just a hair to short. Of course this is possibly because the brackets are not close enough to the bag.

One problem I think I see with Corbin. generally the stuff is great and the fiberglass work first class, but I think they have bracket problems for both bags and seats.

Thats interesting that they have bracket problems at this point in time. My bags are getting on to a year old and have fit off and on very nicely from day one. Granted they installed them initially since I rode in to get them. But I watched them do it and don't remember any bending of brackets to make it all fit.
I just happen to have my bags off at the moment and the hardware is right next to me, bolts are 3/8 x 3/4 and use a flat washer.

Mounted the Rivco bracket

I received the Rivco bracket and installed today. Then remounted the floorboards and relocation arms. The bracket is well made but certainly simpler than the Corbin. Just basically one mounting point at rear of bolt for arm. No problem fitting it and chrome, the corbin brackets were already rusting.
