Does anyone know how this reflector is attached? Is it just adhesive, or are there some pins or holes?

I'd like to remove mine, but I don't want to be left with something that is unsightly.

Thanks!

I do not know how it is in the US, but in Europe these reflectors are part of the homologation - if they are gone, homologation is gone.
Based on this they sell covers for it.
- when its covered, nobody sees it
- when they stop you or during our TÜV every 2 years, they are back

As Elnar said, there is no inspection for reflectors here is the USA.
Or, for anything else, really. You pay the bill and get your registration renewed annually. No one even looks at the bike.
FREEDOM!!!

A heat gun and a credit card were the proper tools to use here. This was a very simple removal. No chemical cleanup required. And the front end looks much cleaner without them.

Now, getting my new front turn indicators mounted is going to be more involved. I purchased a pair that match the ones that came with the Lamonster tail tidy kit. I like how they look - kind of like little rocket thrusters. Seems appropriate.

Thanks for the great advice, everyone!

I went with Wunderkind on my rear signals, but I am leaving my front ones out wide. My front fork reflectors are gone and the rear ones don’t bother me. I think I could get a ticket if the cop wanted to be in a hard-butt but that would be a stretch. We don’t have inspections.
