Recall time Guy's
Apparently my '04 is on the list too, but it doesn't say what for. Mine's always ran and idled fine, so I'm not certain I want to take an afternoon to go 100 miles into the city to have them fix something that ain't broke...

If it ain't broke a motorcycle dealer mechanic can might still fix it :shock: . I'm willing to bet, if it's not broken he can fix it 'til it is. :wink:
 
Uh, I for one won't be taking that bet!

Adding to my concern is this will be my first trip to this dealer since the shop I've been dealing with the last 7 years just went under.

Maybe it's a cam gear recall and then I won't have to get off my lazy ass and change it out! Yeah, right.
 
My late 06 in Canada is on that list tooo.

I just hope it's not just some kind of decal or a missing page in the user's manual. Yeah I had a recall on a car for a missing decal.

I can not thank you enough Rocket Steve!!! My vin number is on this list. I missed my June 5 appointment to get my stall/idle problem fixed due to travel for work. Now, it appears that as soon as I can get on their waiting list, I can get it fixed for free. AND the bonus is that the store is in Maryland, only 27 miles from my house and they have Triumph parts/accessories. Anyone had and dealings with Clinton Cycles in Maryland?

I have only had the R3 stall one time (early 06 model)... so am not inclined to go for recall.

Plus I am getting ready to do Tuneboy anyway, so that takes it out of Triumphs hands anyway
 
sounds like we are all on the list - if it is a remap I would rather stick with the tuneboy mapping I have already - if it is physical check I am in - Needs a service in August so as I have no immediate problems will leave it as is for now... If anyone gets the work done - can they post a synopsis please /?
