We just back from a great weekend in Eastern Oklahoma. Great twisty roads. Weather was perfect.
While we were up there I noticed a new sound. To be truthful I believe I know what it is , but having been wrong before I would like a bit of input before I jump in.
The sound at first reminded me of a final drive going bad and the gears rattling. That has been eliminated, next thought it was something in the engine , that too was eliminated.
Not a high pitch sound like a bad wheel bearing , but more like a part (s) rattling around. Does it from starting to 60+ mph. Then the wind noise drowned it out.
If I pull the clutch lever in it will stop. Bike Shifts OK, and does not pop out of gear.
BTW it is a 06 model , with right at 34K miles on the clock .
