Range function.

Just a heads up about the range function.

I fitter a new speedo to my bike to convert it from KPH > MPH.
Once the new unit was fitted the range in the right hand clock changed from KPH > MPH on it own, so I assume its controlled by the speedo unit.

I would have thought that the ECU handles all that, but in a fashion I suppose it does. But it's the speedo that puts the speed sensor info in a format that's useful. The info given to the ECU would mean nothing to we hew-mons!
