Radiator woes, help!

Anyone have any success installing one of the aluminum radiators off ebay? I ordered one and cant seem to make it fit. They sent a replacement and I am having the same problem. I slide it onto the bracket on the bottom and then the holes at the top are off by a large margin. Maybe 5/8"

I have tried to find someone local to repair the factory one, but am coming up short.

Would it be possible to bolt a plate across the two holes then bolt radiator to the plate?

I installed one on the rocket I put together, was a bit of a mission but got it to fit & even had to muck around with the plastic shrouds!
The good thing is I got it tested before putting it on (made in China) & it tested ok & no problems since
