Pilvi, I am only 6'3" but I like to stretch out. You say the rassks move the pegs 10 to 12 cm, which would be between 4 and 5 Inches if my calcs are right I scaled them off a picture and it appeared to be only 2.5 inches, and someone said they only moved the pegs 1.5 inches forward???? I am getting confused? 4 to 5 inches would be perfect but I'll have to do more research to verify how much they move them.
I already put the Rivco Riser on and it does help a bit, I also have a utopia backrest on order, should be in in a few more day.
It´s been a while... I got my bike back from service and I took it for a spin. It´s pretty rear that you can take your bike out in Finland on 15th of December. This was the first time I actually saw the Raask peg unit installed on my bike. I have to admit I was wrong
. The pegs will go forward only only that 1.5-2.5 inches. It seemed to be more in the picture. I took couple photos but for some reason I wasn´t able to upload them.
There was one uncomfortable thing
and it was that the new bar on which the pegs are installed on is interrupting the proper use of the sidestand. Otherwise the difference wasn´t significant. I was riding only couple hours, and only difference was that after traffic lights I had to do minor correctioning of the feet on pegs (kneeangle remained almost the same). So there´s a little change but I was hoping more...
I might need to discus about some changes with some mechanic who could make some extra parts to modify the moving peg unit. It wasn´t all that I was hoping for but it seems that with little extra work it just might work out. I would like to have the pegs lower and more forward. I think that chances are now easier to do with the raask moving peg unit (multiple attachment points).
