Ouray and surrounding mountains were great when I was there this summer in July. Perhaps some folks from the state would be so kind as to assist with info regarding the mountain weather in CO.
I have been there only twice, both in early July. Would suspect sooner than late June would be iffy.

Ahhh yes Ouray Co. Rode this great scenic Hy 550 last summer on the Valkyrie. They say, and I must agree, that it is the most beautiful highway in the US of A. While I was in Ouray, the Knuckleheads held their US Rally in town also. Super choice for this years RAA. They were repairing a few stretches of road South of town at that time. Should be sweet by this summer!
