To counter the crowded statement on the BRP, going during the week reduces traffic risk especially outside of national holidays. And there are many side roads that can be explored all along the BRP and Skyline Drive. A quick jaunt across the valley to the west and we have many West Virginia byways to ride.
What Steve said about some of those California roads is true, like the ride up Palomar mountain. My only dislike is the traffic to get to them.

I disagree. My opinion of C.A. is a little bias. I grew up there. It SUCKS>

I wouldn't live there anymore either, but that has nothing to do with the fine highways and scenery that permeate the state.

Well screw you guys! :D I love it here in SoCal and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Maybe you'll feel differently in January when it's been raining for 3 months straight @1olbull or 20F with snow blowing across the road @sonny. I'll be sure to lanesplit to the beach and post pics with the Rocket and a cold one with some beach volleyball bikinis bouncing in the background. Now that I think about it, maybe I'll go down there now...

There are some amazing parts of CA, no doubt. If it's there, hope you guys enjoy, I won't be attending (I'm not welcome in the state any longer).
