Anybody upgraded there r3t with eastern beaver ? Was it good for you.

Also has anybody replaced the reflectors, bulbs ?

..yes yes, it is an absolute must do..the main reason for doing so is to keep the igniton switch from burning up..it gets hot and the solder connections melts..the relay helps to prevent this from happening..and a plus from doing this mod is, it makes the stock headllights twice as bright..do it..

I did the relay but did not notice much differnce in light out put. May be the single headlight on R3t vs twin ehadlights on other models.

Even after re-aiming the headlamp useing the 2" at 25' method there was not much usable light.

What did help a lot was replacing the entire unit with one from Candle Power (http://store.candlepower.com/ca53mohe.html).
