I had the Power Tripp derestricting tune on my recently destroyed 2013 R3T and was very happy with it. Since I will be moving to a 2015 R3T very shortly, is there any issues putting that tune on the newer bikes? It seems as though I was reading something somewhere on the forum where you may not be able to do that on the newer year models. Anyone have it on their 2015 or 2016? Any issues? I may not do it till spring anyway. Thanks

Just tell me what tune you want on your bike, and I'll load it for you while you're here. Easiest for me would be to ride your new bike over to my house, as did recently @Boog. I suppose if I had my arm twisted I could do it in the parking lot where we meet -- though timing is everything in life, and I won't be available all day Monday.

If you were thinking of taking care of it once back home, the short answer is no, there is no issue putting one of @HansO 's maps on your bike (or anyone else you want -- though I know his work and I can't speak to any other).

I can drop it on here at home later as it was a piece of cake to do. I have an XP laptop and cable that is set to do the job.

I'm hoping to get to the dealer first thing, pay the money, load it up and be heading home by noon at the latest. I'm going to title it, pay the sales tax, insure it and license it when I get home. If I do it in VA it's another $200 plus in paperwork.
