R3T aux lights.

I have to replace one of the bulbs in the aux lights. It's a 35w H3. Is it possible to run a 55w bulb ? Is there a risk of burning up the lights / electrics ?

not to hijack the thread too badly but...

I seem to be having a really hard time keeping the battery up to snuff ( new batt. in late Nov.) even without any extra electrical gizmos

is there anyone here running AUX lights with a factory battery ?

any problems?

I'm running the aux lights, Stebel air horn, GPS, all off the stock battery.
I've done well enough in the past with other bikes.

Sounds like you might have a gremlin in your bike

I went ahead and ordered some replacement 35w bulbs. Apparently AutoZone, Advance, and others don't carry the 35w bulbs. 55w is the lowest wattage carried.

I was told by the dealer that the bulbs in the aux - lights are a 55w not 35.

Pull the bulb and look at the printed info. 35w.
