A friend and I rode 120 miles today, came to many stop signs...no stalls. We stopped in at the dealership and he bought a nice leather riding jacket (Triumph, of course). The service manager asked how the bike was running. I said, awesome. He said the engine is tight (exactly what Barbagris said) yet.
Later, we stopped for lunch and parked the bikes in front of the restaurant. I couldn't believe the amount of people walking along the sidewalk that stopped and checked out our rides. No one ever cared to look at my V2K when I had it. But these Triumphs draw attention like no other bike. We just grinned each time someone stopped and looked.
Just picked mine up from the 500 mile srvice. The tech took it for a short ride and had it stall on him twice. He did say he was trying to replicate the problem - holding the clutch in longer between shifts, etc...
He adjusted the idle and said the engine should loosen up after another thousand miles, which will hopefully help. He also said to let him know if it continues, he'll change out the TPS to see if that helps.
Took the long way home, about 75miles, no stalls.
Funny you should mention that, I was just thinking as I was riding home last night, how much I loved my Touring, and now the Roadster. I always liked my other bikes, but I love these Rockets! I've already taken more pictures of this Roadster than I ever did of any of my Harley's

Likewise, my Vulcan was so much fun to ride and I was proud to own something that wasn't too common, but my Roadster changed the game completely. I've been snapping pic after pic on my iPhone.
