I have used Tune ECU successfully on my 2017 Roadster for quite a while now. I have a valid license with two bikes still available to register. As my R3 GT is now out of warantee, I've serviced it myself, and want to reset the service indicator. Using the same OBD11 cable and the TuneECU app on my android phone, it just will NOT connect to the ECU.

The green USB symbol is lit, but connecting the ECU just results in a flashing red light, eventually telling me that the ECU is not responding. As I can't connect, I can't register the additional bike. It's almost like the ECU is locked ? - has anyone else had this problem and can help ? I have three different leads, and have tried them all ?

For the GT you'll need a bluetooth OBD like OBDLinkLX (or MX) to connect. The cable only works on older bikes like my 2013 Thunderbird or son-in-laws 2010 Speed Triple.

No problem. When you get it make sure to pair it with your android device before you try to connect to your ECU, keeps your frustration meter low.
