R3 front and rear springs/shocks

Is it worth replacing the front springs on my 06 R3? if so which ones? Also is it worth replacing the rear shocks? which ones on those too.
Doing the front shock oil seals and thought about going with progressive springs. And maybe do the rear shocks to, to get a smoother ride.

I switched to willbergs front and back a world of difference

I guess stock are not progressive? Progressive aftermarket seems like it would be the way to go for the front and/or back.

Is the "PROGRESSIVE BRAND" a good way to go for front or back?
Are the front shock springs longer (longer spring, not changing the front height or anything) for the R3? They were for my 02' Bonneville, (they had a spacer in the stock Bonnie ones).
Would seem to be better, if longer, more room for the progressive to work.

Progressive brand springs work well in front with std weight in a good quality and I have Hagon Nitros on the back with an extra 20 mm in length to sharpen up the steering a bit and give that extra little bit of clearance but I still manage to scape in the twisties

Hanso, Are your front and/or back longer? Don't want to raise or lower, maybe more travel. The front springs I put on my 02 Bonnie, were longer springs than stock, but did not raise the front. I just took the spacer out. I'm sure it is different on the R3. But your probably talking about the rear being raised? I'm 6' and like where the bike sits now, unless there is an advantage to raising either or both. Thx,

Oh, are there different lengths or models for the front springs for the R3?

Also, they mention Progressive 412 series 13" on ebay for one set of rear R3 shocks. Would that change the height, stiffness, what is the difference in series?
thx for input,

I only raised the rear for 2 reasons 1 for extra cornering clearance and 2 to sharpen the some what lazy steering up a bit I am only just on 6 ft myself
I would not waste my time looking at Progressive shocks as two of my mates here in Auss have had the them pop their seals it seems they make good springs but the dampers are ?

Ok, so your saying not to go with progressive front springs because they are hard on the seals etc? Stock ones aren't as hard on the seals? Wonder if the length of the prog front spring is longer? Not necessarily making the front higher?
