There's not much point in the GiPro especially if the bike has a gear indicator. You can do what you want with the secondaries, fuel and ignition tables using TuneECU.

Why do you Tune ECU guys always have to throw that stuff in every thread?
If I wanted to go that route I would have. I don't like to screw with stuff like that, Im not a tuner and my tuner was unfamiliar with it.
You know that at this point im not going to $hitcan my whole system to change over, my bike runs well, so I don't understand the point of always throwing the TuneECU option out there. It doesn't help me.

The Gipro itself doesn't do much for me, but the ATRE is what I wanted it for.

I must say that every time I've thought about TuneECU I've not been keen to go that route for pretty much the same reasons. My bike runs too well the way it is and too many people have endless issues (admittedly some minor) once they start fiddling. I need my bike to behave in traffic, be tractable and reliable. These are more important to me than outright performance, although I feel I have plenty of that too.

Have to tried different ATRE settings yet?

Ya know, since replacing the battery and resetting the gipro, I have noticed what seems to be a slight improvement in performance. Not much, im not sure some folks wouldnt even notice but its there.
Maybe I was riding around in the wrong setting. Lol

You shouldn't knock anything until you've tried it , ask Hanso about the darkside. :D

TuneECU is not only for 'screwing', that is not its primary use. Its a diagnostic and maintenance tool, if you want to maintain and repair your Rocket yourself its accentual.

It just also happens to allow access to your mapping if you want, or change settings that are nothing to do with mapping or gaining performance.

Don't be too hasty to condemn. ;)

I didn't "condemn" anything. Tune ECU may be the greatest thing, I don't know.
But again, what is the purpose in this thread? To throw the Tune ECU name out there one more time?
I am just confused because Tune ECU is not a solution for me at this point so why throw it out there?
If you want to tell all the folks here why people here should rip out any other tuning they might have and start all over with Tune ECU start a separate thread.

OK, I for one will not mention the unmentionable again but I guarantee if you are going to maintain your Rocket yourself and you are on here asking questions about 'how to' - someone will. :p
