Anyone out there installed these? Hard to imagine they would 'dive' less than standard, but what do I know!

Chriss, I recall when you had the front end wobble and was very curious about what caused it. Mine is rock solid which I will be mentioning in an upcoming post on my Las Vegas ride. I'm glad you got it resolved.

Mike:
I had a new rear tire put on just before the last PA SALVO, that is when the trouble started. The dealer was good enough to check everything out but found nothing to be at fault. They then agreed to replace the rear tire once again and problem solved. A max+135MPH was "straight arrow", no problem. A high speed dash at 20*F didn't give a "warm" fuzzy feeling.

That is a lesson to remember. The rear tire was obviously defective in some way...

Mike:
Looking at this post again I now feel you were asking about a low speed "front"end wobble I incurred long ago. It also turned out to be a faulty tire, this time the FRONT. Again, once replaced all problems went away.

To review, long ago I had a 'wobble" in the handle bars when hands off coasting down through 45MPH to 40MPH. The tire had been replaced about 2000 miles before I hit a large pothole. After another 1000 miles I started to notice the low speed wobble. I think the tire "slipped" a belt in the impact. None the less, my dealer was good enough to replace it for free, again she rides perfect.

This info may help others with similar problems. Changing tires solved my problems.

I also just replaced my front tire, it had 14k miles on it. You could almost see the air in it. Front end had a bad wobble on decel starting at 40 mph. Same story, replaced the front tire and now no wobble. Also on my previous bike I put the progressive front springs and greatly improved the handling and stability. Will do the same with the Rocket some day.
