Preload adjustment

put the tool in the hole, and then use it as a lever to turn the the whole collar. It doesnt do anything inside the hole. Its like a mini prybar.
well ?? I guess in the right context this would be correct, but I just keep having these visions of popeye and olive oyl at the therapist office and bluestreak's comments would be the therapist's slightly elevated voice. Haven't laughed that hard in quite some time. I know i'm easily entertained..... pry bar??? really???

shocking question

hi guys. when i got my 08 classsic almost a year ago, it came with a pair of other triumph rocket III shocks. the ones on the bike at the top eye of the shocks is cast in with the number 78T 3 and the pair of shocks that came with the bike but not installed has the number cast in near the top eye, 77P 2. paul who lives in ponca city oklahoma where i bought the bike mentioned that one pair of the shocks was a premium shock, i'm guessing of better quality/ride, etc. the pair that's on the bike now, 78T 3, have more coils by count, but i mic'd the diameter of the coil metal and they seem to be the same thickness. surely this is something that someone knows a lot more about than me.
