my neighbor did the "plastidip" spray can route on his tires to see if he really wanted to get them powder coated. Just needs to be well cleaned, and spray on in thin coats, I believe he did 5. The stuff just peels off the rubber on the tires,good to go, and if you don't like it, it all peels off fairly easy.

I clean the wheel, scuff sand, primer, paint, paint, clear coat once or twice.
