post pictures?

Putting up pictures was so easy before you would just click attachment click brows and select picture and open it and push upload and picture will be upload.
Now I push upload and I get the letering that I need to copy so I copy it and then it say request access so I press that and nothing.
It wasn't like this before to post a picture and now they have this extra step, and it does't work, Is any one eles having this problem ?

There are two different ways to share pictures on this site, that hasn't changed in several years:

1. Attach them to a forum post - In the forum post editor window, you'll see a "paperclip" icon. That will allow you to upload the picture(s) and attach them to your forum post. This is generally best if you're sharing something pertinent to a topic (such as picture associated with a how-to). You'll need to allow Pop-Ups on this site for this feature to function properly.
2. Upload them in the Photo Album - All registered members of this site have the ability to upload pictures into their own album, and create other albums as well. As a feature, I provide the code that can be used to show the picture in other ways - such as a forum post. Sharing pics of a bike, or a great destination, are common reasons why one would upload pictures in the Photo Album.

There are no rules about how you share your pictures, I just support both.
