This has been a long and much more involved project that I first thought. However, I'm very hopeful that all of you will like the end result. I'm very happy with the outcome.

First off, I'd like to thank the people who allowed me to bring this quality product to fruition. I'd like to thank Pigger for his patience with me, GPMAZ for his photographic skills concerning the R3 Touring model, Tomo for his encouragement, Dwight Heck, owner of Heck Steel & Equipment for making sure I had the necessary materials and finishing I required for this quality, American made accessory. One of my requirements was that the stainless be of domestic manufacture, just like the stainless I use in my Flipmeisters Billet Stainless Steel Brakeline Clamps and the aluminum I use in my Flipmeisters Billet Aluminum Handlebar Clamps. It's important to me that I utilize domestic products as it supports our economy. I also want to thank Ed Lyons for his input as a commercial artist. If you went to the Nashville RAA, you'll remember Ed and his Harley. Ed is an accomplished Artist and graphic designer. Finally, I want to thank Jeff Szych at Precision Masking and Equipment for his patience in working through more than one false start and for the fantastic job his Prima 4000 watt 12' x 18' Laser did.

I haven't put the inserts on the website yet as I haven't finalized the price. There are 3 distinctive 303 mirror polished stainless radiator inserts. One for the R3 Standard Model, One for the R3 Classic Model and one for the newest R3 Touring model, each with a distinctive center design to set each model apart. Each insert is industry standard Number 8 polished, which equates to a mirror finish. They are precision laser cut to conform to the radiator and fit nicely under the outer shroud's edge, while being secured by the side shroud fasteners.

Installation will be as simple as removing the outside and top radiator panels, the existing OEM screen and replacing the screen with the insert. As always, the Flipmeisters Polished Radiator Insert will carry a lifetime money back guarantee for quality and durability, just like my other Flipmeisters Signature products carry.

As soon as I get my Rocket back from Baxter's in Marne, Iowa, I'll be proudly displaying another of my Flipmeisters accessories. On the subject of my bike, Baxter's is rebuilding the engine with all upgrades, which, Triumph is warranting 100%. I'm 100% comfortable knowing my Rocket is in very competent hands.

Not only was hauling the bike 620 plus miles to Marne, Iowa and adventure, it was a special treat to meet Pigger and Tomo there and have lunch with them as well as the owner of Baxter's, Randy Baxter. I would strongly advise anyone passing through the area or heading within the general direction to make a point of visiting Baxter's Triumph. Randy's collection of vintage British bikes is unequaled anywhere in the United States and their hospitality is over the top as well. Baxter's is a 'must see'.

I'll put a pile of photo's in the album section showing just a small part of Randy's vast selection of vintage British bikes. Photo's are nice, but nothing beats being there in person.

I'll divide this into 3 separate posts. This first picture is the new R3 Touring Polished Stainless Steel radiator Insert. Because of the highly reflective finish the stainless has, I've converted the pictures to black and white to reduce the glare.

Polished Stainless Radiator Insert..........

Finally, the R3Classic Insert. Like the two other versions, mirror polished and easy to install. All the inserts come with my lifetime unconditional guarantee. I've enclosed a picture of the 'Classic' logo, laser cut into the stainless. You don't need a rattle can of silver spray paint to make these radiator inserts 'appear' to be chromed....they are mirror finish.

Next on the agenda is the chin spoiler and then an LED tail light assembly...to replace the feeble OEM unit and my reasonably priced cat bypass.

Enjoy.

Flip,

Those look outstanding!! I'll be disassembling my radiator surrounds the day I get a tracking number.

Just like the rest of your products, this appears to be the gold standard.

Nice Job!!!!

First of all.. WOW.. Those look great!

But, is there some screening to behind them? Or used the stock screen to go behind them? I've been through some grass hopper storms where the little boogers made 30.06 shells look rather small..

Just wondering.. :) Might have to save up for this after my Jardine fund is complete.. :)

My guess is that you could use the stock screen or fine mesh hardware cloth behind the insert.

Me, I'm running nude....nothing behind it.:D

The R3 radiator is up a lot higher than say a VTX, where a VTX radiator is right in line with the front tire spinning up road debris.

The insert should really 'wake up' the front area. That big blank area in front of the radiator begs for some polished stainless. It will really look sharp with the addition of the chin spoiler coming up soon.

I'll be interested in the LED tail light assembly.

Nice work on the inserts. Those fall in to the "blingy bits" category. It'll have to wait until I get all the safety / comfort / functional pieces done.
