We know the feeling. I drive a fiat abarth 500 and it has A 1.4 liter engine. Sometimes I really Have to ask myself why are we throwing a leg over a motorcycle which has more motor than the car? The answer is simple IT IS FUN.
Ooh mummy! What are you planning to do to the engine and suspension? When I was a young whipper-snapper in England I used to rally prep Minis and I still love them to this day. I wish I had the space (and money) to own and breath on one, now.
It looks like we are done here in Anchorage as well...we have about 3 inches of snow and ice on the ground and a lot of slick roads...my last ride of 2015 was October 29th and I had the beast out on March 7th...considering our location on the globe I cant complain too loudly with 8 months of riding. In a few years I hope to have another motorcycle in the southern United States for winter time excursions. -Doug
I recently pulled out my leathers and put away my textile/mesh wear. Been researching lower altitude local loops to ride from my new high desert crib. Coastal canyons are 90mi of slab west of me. It's a first year for me living here at 3500ft > sea level, 12 miles from the north-east face of 8000ft high mountain ridge. Should be an interesting change from "down below" as the locals say.

The saloon is getting a new clutch and springs, the van is a full restoration. Will be putting in a 1380 with cross flow head. Go from the original 35 hp to about 140.
