It is right at freezing this morning in northern VA so breaking out the heated gear for the third time this fall.
@Chris Kelley the most dangerous part of winter in Denver for me was riding my VMAX there. For whatever reason, motorcycles love taking long, deep breathes of fresh Rocky Mountain air. That’s a little dicey when the street is only one block long where I lived in Centennial. I was always happy to see how fast Denver roads are cleared, but in the neighborhoods, the streets stayed snow packed for days and that darn VMAX didn't need any throttle to slip that back tire on the ice. Still, I rode 3-4 days each week in winter. Just took it easy getting out of the hood.
