We really can't tell how bad your weather is because our tv has a tendency to sensationalize a bit, but it did look a bit rough on your coast. Hope you all get through ok. Also want to hear that TC has his new knees in the breeze.

Cold, wet and windy here but not too bad. I see it's been pretty wild and bloody awful in other parts though. Hope everyone on here and their loved ones are OK.
Just heard from TC. He was having a smoke in the hospital car park less than 24 hrs after surgery. Wouldn't say he has his knees in the breeze just yet but I reckon it won't be too long.

Thanks for the concern , We had 130kph winds here on the coast and 340 mm (nearly 14 inches) of rain in 2 days, no electric power for 2days luckily we have a couple of generators one 2kva and one 3.4kva and gas stoves ect many no so lucky, homes inundated with water and trees falling on roofs and roofs ripped off in the wind .unfortunately 3 elderly people have lost their lives when their houses were washed away at Dungog a small town in the Hunter valley and another couple drowned in their car attempting to cross a swollen creek , conditions have eased now so now its a clean up operation
