With little nanny BS on the the Rocket....ie traction control. How does it do when riding in inclement weather? I would think if you are reasonable with the throttle it's ok. The 2017 R3R I am looking at does have ABS & I have heard good things about that.

Don't know about the R3, but aren't there settings on most bikes? Maybe you can turn it off. I understand how it could be a problem.

My '14 R3T w/ABS handles well in the rain and and I've had her once in the snow and kept her upright at 50mph. For me tires, make a huge difference.

The old 2300cc Rocket does NOT have traction control - Does not have ride modes. You have full torque and power irrespective of the weather.

ABS is something different It detects if one wheel locks and will back the brakes off on a wheel that locks. This has other implications if you are prone to messing about with wheel sizes - otherwise it's a plus. The 2300cc DOES NOT however have cornering ABS which behaves differently.

The new 2500cc R3 has Cornering ABS and traction control.
