Well fellas.. I've picked up the R3T and I have to say what a machine. I've only put 500k since Tuesday. It's funny but I didn't think the differences between the touring and the Roadster were all that much. The only thing that is the same is that wonderful engine, after that everything is different. It is such a smooth machine, maybe because it's not as torquey off the start as the Roadster. It corners like a dream. Don't quite know how to explain it all but it is a pleasure to ride. I even love the seating position and the shape of the bars.
I don't even mind the de-restricting, probably because I kept my Roadster...if I want punch, ride the Roadster. I almost purchased the Indian chieftain dark horse. Nice bike but it's just another bike. The Rocket on the other hand... don't gota say it...y'all own one. Reading the stories and posts over the last three years makes it easy for a fella to make the right choice. See ya on the black top!
