G'day Redwombat and welcome , I hope you know being called a Wombat in OZ is not a term of endearment ,actually Wombats are notorious for their eating and leaving trait ,they, eat roots, shoots and leaves totally vegetarian

Arghh! Should have known. I played (American) football many years and some sportswriter said I was tearing up the field like a wombat. I had red hair and the term Red Wombat stuck from then on. If I ever make it to OZ I'll keep it to myself. No one here in the colonies knows what a wombat is.

Obviously, gonna have to change my moniker. It's been with me for 44 years and it took Aussies and an urban dictionary to lead to the truth. Now if I can just find that sportswriter.....

Us Aussies would never 'expect' anyone to change their moniker ... just because we know it refers to a fat ugly creature that eats roots and leaves .. and becomes a major hazard for bike riders when it lays dead on the apex of corners in Tasmania .. it's an awesome name mate
