Olive Garden Here I Come

How many of you have changed the oil on a Guzzi?
I've been told the oil filter is inside the engine.

It may be "inside the engine" but it does not look all that difficult to replace, 14 bolts and a gasket. At least it is not as bad as I thought it might be.....i.e. having to drop the engine etc. Not much different than changing out the fuel filter in the Rocket which is inside the tank.

The oil filter is just one of the many little fun facts about this Italian machine. Spoked wheels with tubeless tire, spokes are on the outside of the rim and a real ***** to clean. Front and rear brakes are linked, stops on a dime. Will not run on the side stand it all, has to be in the upright position. Has fuel injection and a choke, really just a throttle control. Front forks are adjustable like a sport bike. It's like having alzheimers, you learn new things everyday. I will to say, it is true blast to ride, fit and finish are not the best quality but from what I understand the motors are bullet proof.........

I'm thinking it was a styling decision....they didn't want it hanging out somewhere.
