so, how are those saddlebags working out? I found the site at ebay (customcyclegear) and another (matazu) which apparently makes the saddlebags and trunks. which bag do you have....size....opinion for the for the price?...they are asking around $115 for the bags.

I bought the bags at cooks flea market in winston salem, Nc, I recognized them from ebay. I would recommend them for someone that is only going to use them occasionally. I don't think they would hold up well for permanent installation. They are completely plastic construction. Also with the way the door opens, it limits your storage capacity. They look a little small for the rocket.

IN my application, I needed the bags to be smallish, my tailgunner exhaust sticks up quite a bit and generates LOTS of heat being turbocharged too. So I needed to keep them up and out of the way. The bags hide my custom indicator led's so the imbedded ones made sense.

If I had to pay $115 for them, I would probably re-think the purchase. They are not built to last.

mine are 17"x12"x6.5"

I have removed them, they will spend most of thier life on the shelf. I only intend to use them when I take extended overnight trips.
