Here’s what I did. Do this after the next oil change. After changing the oil, start the bike let her run a few minutes. Park her on the side stand check where the oil is on your dipstick while sitting on the side stand. Use a file and make a mark at the oil level. Now it’s easy to check the oil WITHOUT having to put you bike on a paddock stand.
I have a paddock stand, so level is no problem, also I wanted to know how to do it properly so I could then mark my dipstick with the bike on sidestand to make it a little simpler for the future.
