Oil drips from where drive shaft enters engine rear

If it's Triumph's fault, meaning it's a design failure rather than wear and tear, Triumph offers a goodwill warranty for anything outside the intial two-year period, which I have now used twice. I would just shop around, mention it and go with whoever acknowledges this fact. If you have no luck, then call Triumph directly. I don't know the number but I believe it's been posted on here before

I have my TPS on the fritz right now.
To save time, I ordered the part from the dealer and paid by credit card.
That way the TPS would be on its way.
I've been calling everyday to see if it's in yet.
Yesterday I called and talked to the head of the service dept.,
and told him why I paid for it, and triumph has been paying for them,
and paying to have them installed.
At first he said "Not without a recall".
I said" 3500 members of r3owners.com says otherwise.
He said, "You're with r3owners.com", just a minute.
Sure we'll pay for it, no problem.
So, that being said, apparently WE rock..
And I WILL be wearing my r3owners.com dew rag when I take it in for service from now on.

thanks DCRocket, I just fired out emails to two local shops, basically telling them I was shopping around for work to be done, and asking if either are familiar with these "good will warranties", if they offer, them or honor them... if they don't bite.. I will try a few more shops a little further away and see what comes of it.

My next step will try Triumph Directly..If anyone has the number can you PM me?? I don't know if youve ever tried the search option on this forum.. but it suuuuucccckkkkss... hahaha

Im starting to think I may be having the dreaded output shaft bearing problem?

when ever my bike decellerates with the clutch in, or during engine braking, I kinda get this whinning sound.. and Im feeling it through my left foot peg.

I initially thought it might be a clutch problem, but the clutch pulls fine with no slipping.. so I took it to a friend who has been working on bikes for a few years.. he explained how it might be the output shaft bearing

With the engine off, wheel your bike forward 10-20 feet. You will hear a noise coming from the output shaft. If it is totally silent, you should be good
