Also, the 500 mile oil change is a bit more than just an oil change. There is a complete checklist the mech goes through on the bike. I wouldn't miss the first one.

Yup, I have a printout of all the service checks and what they entail for the Rocket as well as my BMW GS and the Harley. My primary concern is the oil change and I have discussed it with the dealer. I am going to change the oil and then bring it in for the rest of the check when they open back up after Bike Week. Mike
